Both platforms are relatively new in the social media sphere TikTok released in the United States in 2018 after merging with another social media app, Musical.ly. Both platforms allow users to create and share short custom video content meant to entertain, inform, and more. On the face of it, Snapchat and TikTok both seem similar.
And what in the world is TikTok? While you can’t forget about the “old guard” of social media, it’s becoming more and more clear that many businesses need to jump into these new platforms to really get their brand out there.
But what about the new players? Everyone told you a few years ago that Snapchat was just a flash in the pan and you could ignore it, but it’s still sticking around.
